(Mr. Sospeter Misiko – Principal Senior School)
Juja Senior School initially began as an IGCSE school but along the way opened its doors to students doing the local 8-4-4 curriculum. International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is a curriculum that is examined by Cambridge International Examinations in U.K. The curriculum is designed to meet the educational needs of students from different backgrounds and even nationalities so that they can have a global experience and perspective to issues.
The school has invested heavily in staff, teaching materials and even infrastructure. Most of the members of staff have been accredited by Cambridge to teach the various subjects that the school offers. The commitment, dedication and steadfastness exhibited by management, teachers and students has made the school grow and also post very impressive results with the past candidate classes. In 2010, we registered a class mean of A, in 2011-a mean of B while 2012- a mean of B though the class missed the A mean by a slim margin. The school is now a separate campus with a newly refurbished staffroom and holds its separate assemblies on Fridays
